Automated Process

Inline's patented VIPRS system may be totally automated, and is easily integrated into existing production and cleaning cycles. At the heart of the system is an extremely efficient wiper tool, available in a wide range of materials, to suit various products from food to aggressive chemicals.

The VIPR (click to see details) is available in sizes from 1.5 inch (75mm) to 6 inch (150mm) in varying grades of urethane. Other materials such as EPDM are available, if required for chemical resistance.
Sensors

Sensors (click to see details) on the line detect the signals emitted from the wiper, relaying the information to the PLC, to commence the next procedure. The wiper normally remains out of the product flow, during production in the VIPRS chambers, located at either end of the pipe run.

During a CIP cycle, the design of the chamber allows the wiper to oscillate in CIP fluid cleaning it to strict industry standards.

Other components may be added to the system such as Wiper Stops. These are actuated devices that will stop the wiper in the pipe, which will in turn block the product flow. See a typical sequence, demonstrating how these components could work together. This system is 3A compliant.
