Pigging Solutions for Today's Pipeline Applications
pigPro™
Features
The bi-directionally designed plunger can easily adjust to varying pipe wall thickness even while under pressure. The incorporation of a compression spring in the upper housing permits trigger sensitivity adjustment allowing detection of low durometer cleaning elements and foam pigs.
Designed to accomodate on stream installation or removal under pressure, pigPRO's™ do not require expensive proprietory removal equipment. The nipple connects simply and easily to standard hot tapping equipment.
Materials
All the Apache pigPRO's™ are manufactured with stainless steel components and conform to NACE standards.
Reliability
The hemispherically shaped plunger eliminates the need for operators to align the device, an inheritent problem with other industry designs. The absence of gears in the trigger mechanism ensures positive indication of the pig's passage.
Indication
All models are available in either visual flag/manual reset, electrical switch/ auto reset, or a combination of both.
Mounts
The pigPRO™ can be installed on a variety of existing connections.
- 2" 3000/6000 lb. NPT, forged steel thread-o-let
- 2" 150 ANSI to 1500 ANSI flange, RF or RTJ
- other manufacturer's mounts
Options
Extended length pigPRO's™ are available in all configurations for buried pipeline applications in two (2) foot increments with a maximum length of eight (8) feet. Consult factory for other lengths. Low temperature fluorocarbon (Viton ®) seals are standard for all models. Alternative seal materials are available for specific applications.
