Magnetic Cleaning Pigs

After the units are mounted and powered, a test should be performed to confirm that all units are functioning properly. This can be done by passing a handheld magnet (or pig with magnet) past the base of each unit to actisate.

The LED light on the MPS M moving units has two brightness modes. When the unit is powered, the LED will shine "dim".

When the detector senses a magnetic field the LED will shine "bright".

The LED light on the MPS P parked units are "off" until a static magnetic field is detected. At this time the LED light turns to the "on" position.
